Sept 22, Morehead City, NC

We moved 70 miles from Belhaven through the Pimlico Sound to Morehead City, North Carolina. Morehead City is only a few miles from Beaufort, NC where we have stayed before. Morehead City is where Owen and Dan have gone fishing for Bluefin Tuna on the outer banks with Lee. And we caught one about 300 pounds.

Lots of uninhabited country here.

We pick up some porpoise who play in our wake.
First we have seen in months.

Morehead Gulf Docks.

We stayed in Moorhead City at the Morehead Gulf Docks which are right where all the charter sport fishing boat are docked and right on restaurant row. We got a ride to the grocery from the marina and completed provisioning for the next week or so.
