Sept 14-17, Annapolis, MD

After St Michaels we head west and then north and across the Chesapeake Bay to the western shore and end up in Annapolis, Maryland.

Sunrise at St Michaels.

Approaching Annapolis.
The US Naval Academy dominates the waterfront.

Annapolis is the State Capitol of Maryland, the home of the US Naval Academy and a large boating and sailing center. Plus it has some early American architecture which has been preserved and so represents a pretty place to hang out for a while. Annapolis is a tourist town and has lots of shopping and restaurants.
