Aug 12, Marion, MA

Kim arrived safely in Boston last evening and we got back to the boat after 9pm and finished the 10 pound lobster that remained in our refrigerator. Still delicious.

This morning is clear and beautiful with almost no wind and we motor 10 miles east to Marion, MA which is a picture perfect New England village with pretty homes and gardens.

Our mooring field at Marion, MA

We stay on a mooring in a large mooring field (over 200) with lots of sailboats and the launch (which runs from the boats to the clubhouse) runs until 9pm.

Dinner is at a local yacht club where each member appears to have a personal burgee (flag) and the members flags decorate the wall of the dining porch of the club. Interesting flags. Very creative. My guess is people fly their personal flag to show who is on a boat owned by the club or a boat with shared ownership.

Tug in dry dock at our boat yard reminds us of Santa Clause
