We decide to make up for lost time (the storm caused us to miss some stops) and so we run 90 miles to Isle of Hope near Savannah. Our first small mishap - we run aground - pilot error - outside of Golden Isles Marina and have to spend a long time getting off. Where is "GOOMBAY" and her crew when we need them. All seems to be ok as there appears to be no damage. Captain O is not happy at his lapse of judgement, missing a red marker. Linda is very quiet. Boat performs fine after grounding (love that full skeg) so all is well. Captain resolves to try to be more vigilant. Isle of Hope has a free loaner car so we take car to Walmart, grocery store and nice dinner at Bonefish Grill. WOW!!!!
