July 5, Tarrytown, NY

We left NYC about noon and headed north on the Hudson about 20 miles to Tarrytown, New York, which is just beyond the Tappan Zee Bridge, the second bridge over the Hudson heading north.

Ferry terminal on the Jersey side of the Hudson

Aircraft Carrier, and cruise ship, on the Manhattan side.
Cruise ship is much larger than an aircraft carrier.

EPIC as she leaves the dock and takes up much of the Hudson River.

Yacht BLUE GUITAR from London.
An interesting way to tie the tenders off to the boat.

Approaching the I-95 George Washington Bridge.

Reminds us of an erector set.

New Jersey Palisades.

Terrytown Marina.

We arrived about 4pm and as the weather is very hot today (over 100) we just relaxed on the boat and did not explore the town. Maybe another time.

Wow! That cruise ship is enormous! Ryan thinks it probably travels about 1 foot per gallon....
