Temperatures have cooled. It is about 50 overnight and on the bridge today it was 55 degrees while we are traveling so we have blue jeans and heavy jackets out for today’s cruise. Sun begins to come out as we reach Parry Sound and the temperatures rises to the mid 60‘s.
We are docked downtown in Perry Sound at the Government Dock and when we went to check in with the dockmaster we found the docks are now closed for the season. So there is no charge. No power and no internet. We are docked next to the Island Queen a 550 passenger sightseeing boat that fills up on weekends with passengers from Toronto looking to see this beautiful area. There is a float plane operator here for scenic flights and to take passengers to the remote areas for fishing or hunting.
Downtown is under the large railroad bridge up the small hill and is bigger than we can see from the water.
After a nice dinner we moved the boat to another town operated Big Sound Marina which is also closed for the season but still has 30 amp power for us (no charge) but no internet. We are almost the only boat in the marina.
