Oct 1, Sag Harbor, NY
We left Montauk harbor about 10 am and motored slowly about 20 miles along the north side of Long Island (pretty uninhabited) to Sag Harbor.
Beautiful, undeveloped coastline for the most part with some large sandy cliffs along the way. Few lobster floats today. A nice change, in that regard, from Maine.
On entering the harbor we encountered the largest private yacht we have seen yet. She is the INTUITION II, 193'7" owned by a New York resident and is based in Sag Harbor.
Dockage today is at the Sag Harbor Municipal Docks which are located along a boardwalk and park right in town.
