The marina is small and not very well equipped for boats larger than 40 feet. They have put us into two slips here (we are too wide for one) and we have double 30 amp power instead of the normal 50 amp. We are the largest boat in the marina.
Sutton's Bay is having a small celebration for the benefit of Inland Seas Education Association, their sea school for youngsters, which teaches sailing, seamanship, boat building and environmental awareness. A tall ship, the schoolship schooner INLAND SEAS, takes students and passengers on day trips and is recognizable from a distance with her 'red sails'.
Local band plays for the celebration.

Rick and Kathy joined us in Suttons Bay. They have not been to Sutters Bay before or Leland or Northport so we are enjoying discovering what's here on the Leelanau Peninsula together.
How can we resist.
