June 4, Cornwall, ON

Raining lightly (a drizzle) again this morning as we leave Crysler Park and head downstream on the St Lawrence Seaway toward Montreal. We pass through two more locks this morning, first the Eisenhower Lock and then the Snell Lock. Both locks have about a 50 foot drop. We enter and tie up to floating bollards and tie them off to the boat and the bollard and the boat go down together. Pretty neat.

Entering the Eisenhower Lock

Going down. We do not have to tend the lines as we are tied to the yellow floating bollard (seen near Linda"s foot) and we go down together.

We end the day's run at Cornwall. The marina is just getting ready for the summer and they put us on the far wall (all by ourselves) in a pretty park setting. We have 50 amp but no water. We walked to the nearby mall which has a grocery store on one end and an old Sears store on the other with two floors of small shops in between. Think we will only spend one night here.
