April 30, 2007 New Smyrna

Arrived at New Smyrna Beach at the Riverside Hotel and Marina. The marina is located in front of an old hotel and restaurant in the old downtown area of New Smyrna. Walked the old downtown and found a few interesting shops, Had a delightful dinner at the restaurant. Tom Hawken remembers finding a pearl in one of his oysters served here, (now on a necklace for Dede). We had no such luck, Nice pool and hot tub and management made unused hotel room available for showers in the morning. Delightful!
